Detach the Recoil Starter Cap
You'll need to remove the recoil starting cap to reach the inside portion of your Honda engine. To remove the engine cover, you can leverage an impact wrench. The impact wrench can easily loosen the nuts holding it in place.
Remove the bolts and the cover as soon as they're free. The flywheel and flywheel fan are now accessible.Â
